About

Tim Perry is the founder of PERRY Mechanical Design. He is a Mechanical Engineer located in San Diego, CA with over a decade of experience in the aerospace, environmental startup, medical device, and consumer product industries. 

He has spent his career building a broad engineering skillset to lead engineering projects through all stages of development; including project planning, design research, math modeling for performance estimation, CAD design, manufacturing documentation, device assembly, validation testing, regulatory certification, production, and EOL planning. He is passionate about bringing ideas to life and committed to producing thoroughly researched, exceptional quality work in a timely manner.

He currently sits on the board of directors for Clear Blue Sea, a non-profit ocean cleanup organization focused cleaning marine pollution from our waterways as well as educating K-12 students on the severity of the issue and encouraging them towards a STEM path to be part of the solution.
